Property is a valuable asset, to properly maintain this asset periodic maintenance is essential, the two main causes that effect the value of a property are decay and Structural Pest damage, therefore it should be in your best interest to be fully aware if the property has Structural Pest damage or activity, pest activity can initiate at any time without warning, causing extensive damage that can be expensive to repair.

Our records indicate that the occurrence of finding termite damage, dormant/inactive termite damage and/or current activity, within the boundaries of an inspected property is approximately 1 in 3 inspections carried out by AUSINSPECT.

Our records indicate that over 90% of Sydney buildings do not have a periodic termite inspection carried out at least annually in accord with current Australian Standards

• AUSINSPECT carries out Pre Purchase Structural Pest Inspection Reports, Periodic Structural Pest Inspection Reports and Specialist Pest Inspection Reports.

• When we initiate an inspection we have no defined time frame, the time we spend on site depends on how long it takes to adequately cover all areas of the property. The time we are on site is commonly 1.5 hours to 3 hours duration.

• AUSINSPECT endeavours to carry out all inspections in accord of Australian Standards AS-3600. 
• It is not possible to fully comply with all aspects of the Australian Standards as some sections of the Australian Standards have conflicting items, it is therefore only possible to use the Australian Standard as a guide. 
• Australian Standards are important to provide a common platform for the way we provide services or manufacture products in Australia. It is therefore important the Australian Standards are used as a guide and that businesses endeavour to provide a higher quality of service than that outlined in the given standard.

• The prime purpose of a no-destructive pre-purchase structural pest report is to identify visual evidence of structural pest damage and/or activity.
